This project assists families in need of new or used clothing (all sizes), shoes, coats, towels, sheet sets, blankets and toys. These donations will be accepted only in good condition and ready to be used. There are many families less fortunate than we are, so let's get together and get back to our mission of building families and communities. Master Plan for Language Access (MPLA): A right to FREE language services assistance
Demographic projections and trends forecast a continued growth in immigrant communities and highlight the need to address this change systematically. As such, the Alameda County Social Services Agency (ACSSA) is committed to developing and implementing models and policies that provide linguistic, culturally competent, and equal access to all programs and services. The MPLA, which is consistent with state and federal requirements, is the Agency's response to meeting our non and limited English speaking clients' needs. For the agency's current Policies & Procedures, browse the Language Access section of the Web site.
