Demographic projections and trends forecast a continued growth in immigrant communities and highlight the need to address this change systematically. As such, the Alameda County Social Services Agency (ACSSA) is committed to developing and implementing models and policies that provide linguistic, culturally competent, and equal access to all programs and services. The MPLA, which is consistent with state and federal requirements, is the Agency's response to meeting our non and limited English speaking clients' needs.
