The RFP is titled: 2009/2010 SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access and Recovery (SOAR) Model Advocacy Services and SSI/SSDI Appeals Advocacy Services and solicits proposals for two programs: One program to implement a Supplemental Security Income (SSI)/Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) Outreach, Access and Recovery (SOAR) Model Advocacy Program for GA Program participants filing initial applications and reconsiderations, and a second program to provide advocacy services and representation for GA Program participants who are appealing the denial of SSI/SSDI benefits at the Appeals Stage of the SSI/SSDI application process. $400,000 has been allocated for the SOAR Model Program and $100,000 for the Appeals Advocacy Services Program.
